To celebrate Cornwall in the run up to G7 Kernow in 2021, we worked in partnership with UNESCO UK and the Cabinet Office to create a series of video interviews with Cornish Mining World Heritage Site partners.

Some of our key higher education and industry partners were interviewed who are undertaking new environmental research and developing innovative low carbon technology business opportunities.

You can watch the videos in full below.

First up Lucy Crane, Senior Exploration Geologist at Cornish Lithium, discussing Cornwall's sustainable mining powering the Green Revolution

Next in our G7 series Professor Karen Hudson-Edwards, Professor of Sustainable Mining at Camborne School of Mines, talks about responsible mining and the environmental impacts of mineral extraction alongside her own path into mineralogy and geochemistry.

Continuing our G7 project Professor Frances Wall, Professor of Applies Mineralogy at Camborne School of Mines, talks about the fundamental importance of mining and the need to mine responsibly for a sustainable future.

Caitlin Gould of TECgirls talks about her work engaging primary school girls in ITC for our interview series working alongside UNESCO UK and the Cabinet Office for G7 Kernow.
